You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! Let me share the Horse dream with you and take you to the next level in your horsemanship.
How It Works:
Lyn will be using Zoom as her virtual communication tool. The most effective virtual lesson structure is to have an extra person acting as a “cameraman” filming with a cell phone or a tablet and sharing on the Zoom call. The rider has a cell phone with earphones and is also on the zoom call. It is important to have adequate cell phone reception.
Step 1: Download the www.zoom.com.us app on all devices
Step 2: You will receive a Zoom meeting invitation from Lyn. You will need this log in on all devices. Make sure Lyn has all cell phone numbers and email(s).
Step 3: At your lesson time, log into your Zoom meeting with all devices being used in the lesson.
Step 4: Once everyone is logged into the meeting, the cameraperson will film the rider, Lyn will be watching via Zoom and giving instruction for the rider to hear.
Equipment needed by student with a camera person:
Rider: cell phone, fully charged, with Bluetooth ear phones or plug in earphones and good cell reception.
Camera person: Tripod with holder for fully charged cell phone or tablet with good reception. Check picture before lesson begins for connection, best location, and lighting. **Shooting slightly elevated above the rider is helpful.
If no camera person available:
You will need to attach a video device (cell phone or tablet) to a tripod, fence or location that is slightly elevated in your arena. Markers (cones work well) are needed to define the outer edge of the video field of vision, so you can stay within the video field during the lesson.
